While working for PulteGroup for more than a decade, David Wong also served the United States Armed Forces. As an Air Force crew chief, he flew C-130s and was responsible for ensuring the aircraft was mechanically safe for operation. More than 100 people were on hand when PulteGroup surprised U.S. Army Sgt. Matthew R. White with the announcement that he is the recipient of a new home in the Centex community of Cherry Hill Crossing in Dumfries, Virginia.

After six years of active duty service in the Navy, Lauren Ronan joined the PulteGroup team in Charleston – transitioning from the high seas to a career as a market intelligence analyst for the homebuilder. She says her military experience has prepared her to be organized, and to be willing to “go with the flow.”
 

When Greg Glasow was notified last year that his Army Reserve Unit was to be deployed to Kuwait, he was proud to serve, yet concerned about his job prospects upon his return.  The 43-year-old husband and father of two was enjoying his new job at PulteGroup, where he worked in the Arizona Division's Procurement Department.

A wounded veteran and his family received the keys to their new mortgage-free Pulte home, as a crowd of cheering well-wishers waved flags and celebrated their new beginning together. The new home was donated by PulteGroup’s Built to Honor program in collaboration with Military Warriors Support Foundation.

 

The first annual Tampa Building to Make Lives Better Golf Tournament hosted by PulteGroup's West Florida Division on Oct. 3 at Avila Golf & Country Club is expected to raise over $50,000 to benefit The Children’s Home.

PulteGroup encourages employees to give back to the community and volunteer their time by providing two days off with pay every year. In addition to individual community involvement, employees in Pulte Division markets across the nation collectively support about 130 different non-profits every year, doing everything from feeding the homeless, to collecting school supplies for needy kids.
 

An injured veteran broke ground today on a new mortgage-free Pulte home as an enthusiastic crowd cheered and shed tears of joy. U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Oskar R. Zepeda was joined by his wife Lisa and two children at the groundbreaking ceremony, which marked the first time they visited the site of their future home.
