PulteGroup, Inc. (NYSE: PHM) today announced that Richard J. Dugas, Jr. has informed the Company’s Board of Directors of his intention to retire as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at the May 2017 Annual Meeting of Shareholders.

PulteGroup, Inc.  (NYSE: PHM) today announced that it will release its first quarter 2016 financial results before the market opens on  Thursday, April 21 , 2016.  The Company will hold a conference call to discuss first quarter results that same day at  8:30 a.m. (ET) .

On Wednesday of last week, both the Georgia House and Senate passed HB 757, commonly known as the “religious freedom” bill.  While this bill sounds promising in title (we all want religious freedom), the bill would actually allow legalized discrimination.  Simply put, the content of the bill would allow any company doing business in Georgia that was “faith based” (anyone could add the words “faith based” to their mission statement to qualify) to discriminate and choose not to serve customers if so compelled by their religion. Our company stands for inclusion for everyone, and is strongly opposed to any legislation that would allow for discrimination of any kind.

PulteGroup is building a zero net energy (ZNE) home prototype in Northern California, becoming the largest builder to participate in a pilot aimed at building new homes to achieve maximum energy efficiency and utility grid load reduction. The home’s design combines near airtight building methods, highly efficient insulation, HVAC, lighting technologies and more, with on-site energy producing technologies like solar power to achieve maximum energy efficiency.

PulteGroup  announced today that Ryan Marshall has been named President of the Company and Harmon Smith has been named Chief Operating Officer, effective immediately. Richard J. Dugas, Jr. remains Chairman and CEO of the Company.

PulteGroup, Inc. announced today financial results for its fourth quarter ended December 31, 2015. For the quarter, PulteGroup reported net income of $228 million, or $0.64 per share, inclusive of $0.07 per share of benefit associated with the reversal of certain mortgage and construction related insurance reserves. Prior year net income of $217 million, or $0.58 per share, included $0.16 per share of income tax and insurance benefits.
